“The real problem is not that we are different, nor that we disagree and have conflict. It's that most of us automatically view conflict as something negative rather than as a tool God can use to help us better understand ourselves and one another.

A Questions of Perspective

On this Thanksgiving, as a man of Faith I would like to share a profound thought. Are we living in times of darkness or Glory? The choice truly is up to us. Yes, things are going bad to worse. The rule of man is continually and increasing degree replacing the rule of God. And, I do mean the rule of God. The Church was not meant to rule, but to influence. But, I digress. Yes, all manner of evil things are occurring throughout the world. So, yes darkness is increasing.

BUT, at the same time, all of this was foretold. So, that makes it the unfolding of the will and plan of God. And, that makes all of it glorious because God is revealing Himself in our days for all who are willing to recognize Him.

How you view it, and how you react to it, is up to you. We can see the darkness and revel in God's glory, while letting Christ and the Holy Spirit work through us to influence others. Or, we can point to everything evil, decry how bad it is, and demand people change. Personally, I prefer to focus on glory rather than darkness.

Happy Thanksgiving.
