“The real problem is not that we are different, nor that we disagree and have conflict. It's that most of us automatically view conflict as something negative rather than as a tool God can use to help us better understand ourselves and one another.

Finally...Another Valour-IT Update...

You know, I crashed and burned so hard last night I missed the update! Ah, well...hazards of working weekend nights and taking care of a family. But, jumping right back into it, here are the close of day numbers for 11/07 23:45 (11:45 PM) Central (Day Nine):

Team Air Force: $22,825.00
Team Army: $28,032.67
Team Marines: $25,654.10
Team Navy: $38,486.00
TOTAL: $114,977.77 (out of $180,000)
WOW! What happened over in the shipyards? How did Team Navy take over the rankings?

Let's pick up the pace Team Air Force! We have some serious ground air space to reclaim.

If you're just checing in for the first time, check the Valour-IT links in the sidebar for the sites of the Team Chiefs.
(...and, of course, for all visitors, see my original post for more info...or visit the Valour-IT homepage...)

Let's complete the mission.

I’ll close the day with a couple of odd news items.

According to this… Uncle Google is watching you. Or at least will be in five years or so.
(H/T to Sabot Loaded)

Also, oddly enough, it’s been discovered that jargon builds distrust.
Management jargon can alienate staff and leave bosses looking untrustworthy and weak, according to a survey published Monday.

I’ll bet someone makes the same claim about the military because of this.
(…it does leave you wondering why we still trust all the cumuter folks, though…)

I hope your elections went well, wherever you are. For those that voted, thank you for taking part and making yourself heard—even if your favorites lost. For those that did not vote, I hope you are happy with the results.
